Racks

Half racks are significantly smaller than full racks. This unit consists of a solid base with metal bars extending to the top. Typically, those bars are connected at the top by a fourth bar, which adds additional stability. You can use this kind of rack for weightlifting with bars and barbells, as they will have rungs that can act as a “spotter”, making it easier for you to lift safely on your own.

Often referred to as a power rack, a full rack is a large cage that sits inside a home gym. This device is composed of a solid metal base that is normally square or rectangular in shape, compared to the flat base of a half-rack. Four struts come up from each of the corners and are connected at the top for stability.

Half racks are better for small spaces as they simply take up less room, and they’re also generally more affordable than full racks. However, full racks offer you more support, stability and flexibility in general, so are often the better choice if you have the space and budget available. All of our products are made here in the UK, from quality British steel to ensure the safety and longevity of every one of our racks. Whether you’re a new beginner or seasoned lifter, we can help you build a bespoke home gym that works for you and fits seamlessly into your daily routines, resulting in a stronger, healthier you.
